Welcome to the Port Hills Athletic Website

Thank you for viewing our website and welcome to Port Hills Athletic Club.

Port Hills is one of the largest athletics clubs in Canterbury with over 400 members.

The club caters for all-comers, whether you just want to get fit, wish to improve times and distances you have achieved at school, would like to get back in to the sport you left behind years ago, or already excel as an athlete.

Our Hansen Park club house and grounds are excellent for training with a full size track and superb field event facilities.

Coaching is provided for the different track distances and for the technical field events. We also provide training programs and groups for our road and cross country runners. People can compete in our own club events and represent the club in all of these disciplines.

Port Hills Athletic Club takes pride in itself as a very social group of people who regularly combine our fantastic sport with the fun side of life.

We work closely with the community, encouraging schools to use our facilities and provide local events for the public.

Please enjoy our website but don't hesitate to get in touch and join us at one of our many training sessions.

We look forward to meeting you.
